Breakdown

Breakdown(2023) is life-sized sensory-based Jenga created as a response to anxiety disorders.

This was made keeping in mind that sensory experiences might help either reduce anxiety or calm one's nerves for the moment.
The images shown include progress of this piece from when the wood was first cut and assembled, painting the individual blocks, painting the 'sensory' element at play and finally assembling the structure together.
The top half of the structure was made of individual blocks (21 in total)and the lower half was made as one big block to provide more stability and keeping in mind health and safety regulations for the final showcase.
